Pei-Ling Kao is a Taiwanese choreographer, performer, dance educator and the artistic director of Pei-Ling Kao Dances. She is a professor of dance at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Kao's research interests are in the areas of bicultural and hybrid movement, postmodern dance, movement improvisation, interdisciplinary collaboration and choreography. Her work explores cultural identity and migration in dance, responding to political and social issues and expressing my devotion to dance.
