Artist Talk with He Shen, Andrea Sommer and Oz Oderbolz

Food negotiates identity, enables access, awakens memories and creates spaces for coming together. Cooking and eating workshops with the NOF4 collective, the artists and the Aargauer Kunsthaus are organised in line with these interests. In her artistic practice, Andrea Sommer (*1994) explores the political and poetic aspects of cooking, the kitchen and the meal. She is interested in network systems and the connections between human and plant forms of organisation. Oz Oderbolz (*1988) deals with questions of identity, transformation and social spaces in her artistic practice. Oz creates installations and situations that challenge perception and question existing power relations. In He Shen's (*1992) work Tofutopia (2024), tofu becomes an agent of queer, migrant, Marxist and gender identity-related strands of trade in the past and present. With the artists Andrea Sommer, Oz Oderbolz and He Shen, moderated by NOF4 collective. Every Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. Free admission for everyone
