In 2018, the internationally renowned Swiss artist with Haitian roots created the portrait of Baldwin on a shutter of the Burg Hüsli chalet in Leukerbad, where he had stayed in the 1950s. Part of The Firsts series, in which the artist works with staples, the portrait is a site-specific artwork and remains in the village. For this exhibition, she has revisited the site to make an edition of frottages on black paper. Each frottage is unique.
