Huber Thomas. Ohne Titel, 2018 (Edition)

In 2017, Thomas Huber erected a huge mound of Venus in the central exhibition hall of the Centre culturel Suisse in Paris. With large-format watercolours and wall-sized drawings, he imagined his genius loci of Eros. A book entitled extase was published to accompany the exhibition. It brings together a selection of erotic watercolours from his approximately 60 sketchbooks of the last 30 years. He remarks: "In my paintings, Eros is the hidden cause, the hidden force that drives my pictorial inventions." Thomas Huber has taken up a motif and realised it as a four-colour lithograph. It is published on the occasion of his exhibition at the Aargauer Kunsthaus.
