Gritsch Stefan. ROSE, 1990/2019 (Edition)

On the occasion of the exhibition Bones n' Roses, 18.5. - 11.8.2019, at the Aargauer Kunsthaus, Stefan Gritsch (*1951) creates this limited edition for the Aargauischer Kunstverein. The installation represents the title of the exhibition and as a horizon line creates a connection to all the exhibition rooms that are arranged around this central space. The ROSES are part of this installation and appear as limited artist editions for the exhibition at the Aargauer Kunsthaus. The mass of acrylic paint, brought into ever new states, forms the basis for most of Gritsch's three-dimensional works. In a sign of repetition and transfer, the artist works on this volume of color and assembles it into changing conglomerates, in this case as a suggestion of a rose. Each individual piece is unique.
