Description: Besides her main occupation, drawing, Silvia Bächli repeatedly works with photography. Dritvik is a photograph of the bay of the same name in Iceland. Several trips have already led the artist to the island, whose wide, rather barren landscapes fascinate her. Brightly illuminated, the bay shines behind the volcanic rocks, which jut into the picture in deep black. A play with image levels as well as references to the poetic and mystical landscape paintings of the "Black Romanticism" are alluded to
