The exhibition was accompanied by the catalog Karpaten. Carpathians with texts by Paula van den Bosch, curator of contemporary art Bonnefantenmuseum Maastricht, and Madeleine Schuppli, director of the Aargauer Kunsthaus, as well as illustrations of all street paintings on display. The catalog collects the street paintings taken by Roman Signer in the Ukraine and Romania. The pictures show arrangements of the inhabitants taken against a landscape background, juxtaposing life and death.
